How to Request a Fraud Alert Flag
If a consumer identifies possible fraud or has reason to believe fraud may occur against them, they may request that FactorTrust place a Fraud Flag on their SSN, which will stop any application submitted to FactorTrust from being processed. A warning notice will be sent to the Lender, submitting the application, that the SSN has been Flagged with a Fraud Alert.
